Craft Beer Appreciation

This class will answer the questions: What are the differences, how are they categorized and what should be expected when tasting a particular style? Students will have the opportunity to sample various beer types ranging from light to dark and including those that are seasonal and fruit-flavored. Students must be 21 years old to register.

Fermenting W Water Kefir: From Soda to Vegan Cheese

In this introductory fermentation class you will learn all about how to use water kefir (aka tibicos). This is a starter culture that can be used to make live-cultured sodas, vegan cheese and other condiments.

As you often change your menus for summer, you may need new wines to pair with the food. Pairings that work for barbeque, salads and other summer fare will be covered. By the end of the class you will feel comfortable selecting a fine wine for a hot day or evening. Students must be at least 21 years old to enroll.
