Google Basics

Students will learn the basics of the Google set of applications. Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheet and Slides. Learn the comparisons between the Google applications to the Microsoft application of Outlook, One Drive, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Lunch and Learn: Excel Workshop 1

Learn the basics of Microsoft Excel, including creating, editing, saving and printing spreadsheets. Topics include formatting, labels, values, formulas, functions, relative and absolute self-references, and charts. Students will be provided with guest access for our computers during class (no need to obtain a Net ID or CCAC email address).

Please note that our printed catalog has an error with the course number for the Braddock Hills location cousre -please use YAI 153 1231 (not YAI 153 1230). This course will populate on the system here on 12/10/25 and will be held 9 AM -4 PM on Thursday 4/9/26

Lunch and Learn: Excel Workshop 2

Now that you know the basics of Excel, learn some of the more advanced features of creating and using pivot tables and Excel macros in spreadsheets, linking formulas and working with multiple worksheets, creating and using databases and outlines, and using data. Analysis tools, 3D cell references, and tracing formulas.

Please note that the instructor will provide guest access for students to access computers during class. Students will no longer need to obtain a CCAC email address or Net ID prior to the start of class. Thank you and we hope that you will join us.

Microsoft Basic

Students will learn the basics of the new Microsoft Windows 11 operating system. Students will also learn about the Microsoft Office Suite of applications- One Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. It is advisable for the students to have access to the Microsoft operating system and Microsoft applications on their personal computer to use these most effectively.

Guest access will be provided by our instructor to students to use our computers (no need to obtain a CCAC email address or Net ID -this is new for Spring 2026). We hope that you will join us!
