CCAC COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate
Dear CCAC Students,
Effective July 1, 2022, all CCAC students will need to be vaccinated in order to register for in-person classes or to participate in athletic or other in-person activities conducted in CCAC buildings and facilities. This includes both credit and non-credit courses that are conducted in-person. Students who are only enrolling in remote or online course offerings will not be required to provide proof of vaccination in order to enroll.
In order to comply with the vaccine mandate, students must complete one of the following options by July 1, 2022*:
Present your vaccination record at the time of registration either on site or in the Virtual Welcome Center. Please note that you will need a photo ID and the vaccination card must be legible and/or readable.
Upload and email a copy of your vaccination card via CCAC Continuing Education email box: email@example.com
If you have already completed this process you do not need to do it again.
* If you cannot submit proof of vaccination at this time, but agree to comply before the start of class, you may submit the COVID Vaccine Compliance Acknowledgment which will permit you to register at this time. Students enrolled in course(s) which go beyond July 1, 2022 are required to provide proof of vaccination prior to the start of the term. Please call 412-788-7507 for a Compliance Acknowledgment Form
**Students can apply for an exemption to the vaccination requirement based on religious or medical reasons. A committee will review the exemption request and students will be notified of the decision within 2 weeks of receiving the request. Students enrolled in the Nursing and Allied Health programs should consult the procedures for requesting exemptions. Please call 412-788-7507 for information on how to apply for an exemption.
Please be aware of CCAC's Community Education refund policy:
Students who wish to withdraw from a class must do so by the end of the last business day before the class starts. No refund of materials fees shall be granted unless such materials are returned unused.
Additionally, Students must be 18 years of age to attend any class that is not designated a youth class.
