Art for Emotional Learning/Expression

Art for Emotional Learning and Expression is a class designed to help students explore and understand their feelings through creative art activities. Participants engage in drawing, painting, and mixed media projects that encourage self-reflection and emotional growth. By fostering a supportive environment, the class empowers students to express themselves authentically and build emotional resilience. The projects for this class can be adapted to accommodate a wide range of materials, so students will be able to use whatever they have access to including: pencils, pens, colored pencils, pastels, colored paper, scissors, glue sticks or glue guns, acrylic paint, watercolor, watercolor pencils, oil paint, craft supplies, old magazines, image editing programs or apps, modeling clay or Model Magic, etc.
