Tying Flies With Deer Hair
Learn proper fly-tying techniques for tying flies with deer hair and the methods of spinning and stacking deer hair to tie effective flies for trout, bass, and other species. Four or more flies will be taught with the student tying at least two of each fly pattern. Material selection, proper proportions, and variations of each fly pattern will be discussed. Pattern sheets, hooks, and all materials will be provided. Students will be required to supply basic fly-tying tools and should have some fly-tying experience.
