Employment Skills for Persons Needing Learning Supports
In this forty-five hour course for persons needing learning supports, each student progresses through a series of employment lessons for obtaining and maintaining a job in the indoor/outdoor building maintenance industry. Communication, student assets and strengths are identified and worker rights and responsibilities are discussed. In addition, students will collect data necessary for the development and designing of a resume, elements of a job application and interview skills. Practicum and employment sites are identified.
