The Steelband Experience
The course is designed to let participants experience making music on steel pans and rhythm instruments. The experience will teach the basics of playing in a steelband, offering an opportunity to play the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago, while learning about the rich history of the instrument. At the conclusion of the course, participants will "Bang on the Drum" in a music recital to present the diverse repertoire of music that was learned throughout the course.
