TAVR & AORTIC STENOSIS
Student will have a brief overview of what aortic stenosis is, risk factors, how patients present, who is a candidate for TAVR versus surgical aortic valve replacement. Health care professionals will explain the TAVR procedure, how it works, what valves types are used and post op management and potential complications.
