Sustainable Meat Production

The Sustainable Meat Production course will provide students with an understanding of our food system as well as how animal agriculture and the meat industry are situated within this larger system. Students will learn about the environmental, economic, and social implications of the meat industry as it is currently as well as the history of the industry. The class will also focus on the ethics of eating meat and how consumerism has shaped the industry and our eating habits as a nation.
