Introduction to the Sport of Curling

Popular during the winter Olympics, this course includes both on and off ice instruction. In the first two sessions participants will learn the basics of sliding, delivery of stone, sweeping, basic strategy/terms, team positions, curling etiquette, broom stacking, and instructed game scenarios. Session 3 are games played with experienced instructors and club members to provide a full game experience. No prior curling experience is needed to take this class. All equipment is provided. Additional information will be provided upon registration. The facility is ADA compliant.
