Ballet Workout
This class for those with little or no ballet experience designed to expose students to the beauty, grace and fluidity of the dance form using exercises modified for a fitness setting. The format includes a moving warmup, stretch, abdominals, floor barre, standing center work, a movement combination, and reverence. We will not use a barre in order to strengthen the core and improve balance. Come experience ballet! Bring a yoga mat, water, towel, and a set of 3-5 pound hand weights. Fitness attire and sneakers are acceptable. Ballet slippers are optional.
