Advanced Barbering Services

This 225-hour course introduces the student to women's haircutting and styling including texturizing techniques, wet styling, blow-drying and thermal curling and straightening techniques. This module also includes chemical texture services and the effects of the service on the hair; hair coloring and lightening and the principles of color theory and relates their importance to hair coloring, nails and manicuring including disease and irregularities of the nail, procedures, implements, hand massage, equipment and products. Pre-requisite: High school diploma or its equivalent.
