Heartsaver C P R
This 4-hour American Heart Association (AHA) program teaches the rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until EMS personnel arrive. Everyone who knows CPR is part of your community's public safety system. This Heartsaver CPR program teaches the general public how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for responsive adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. This program teaches rescue breathing with and without the use of barrier devices. Upon successful completion, the student will receive a completion card from the AHA.
