Cle Allowance of Appeal Before Pa Supreme Ct
This three (3) hour course covers the best practices for seeking allowance of appeal before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. This process is rarely understood by practitioners or explained by the Court. Special emphasis is placed on preservation and thorough development of claims and reformulation of claims as implicating the "special and important reasons" required for allowance of appeal. Additional topics include curation of the reproduced record, post-submission communications, and ethical issues associated with petitions for allowance of appeal.
