Crisis Intervention: Personal Emergency Intervention Train the Trainer
During this fourteen-hour course participants will review safe and effective control procedures used as a last resort in emergency crisis situations when less restrictive options are neither effective nor appropriate. In addition to the physical procedures presented, the program strongly emphasizes the importance of preventive strategies that reduce and eliminate the use of physical restraint. The program components include: involuntary escorts, assist techniques, personal restraint and frameworks for the reduction of restraints.
