Fiscal Management for Nursing Home Administrators
The purpose of this course is to identify and describe some of the basic concepts of budgeting. Concepts for review and discussion are: general budget formats; budgeting methods; basic accounting and bookkeeping methods; and basic computer operations for budgeting. The student will be able to prepare an integrated budget, in addition to reading and interpreting financial statements. The major goal of this course is to provide the knowledge base to evaluate budget information, interpret and use financial information such CPA audit reports and analyze the variance between budgets and actual financial performance.
