Drivers Education-Classroom Theory

DRIVER EDUCATION—CLASSROOM THEORY
The driver’s education training course consists of 30 hours of classroom theory. Students will learn to understand traffic laws, signs and signals, the capabilities and limitations of a motor vehicle and techniques for driving in diverse areas (urban, rural, highway) and diverse conditions. In addition, students will learn driver safety techniques, the dangers of mixing driving with alcohol or drugs and responsibilities involved in owning and maintaining a vehicle. Completion of this course along with the on-the-road practice driving
course may qualify the student for an insurance reduction. A textbook is required please call 412-788-7507 for textbook information.
