Introduction to Abstract Art

Explore the impact of the American abstract art movement. Students will learn that Abstract Art does not represent an accurate depiction of visual reality, communicating instead through lines, shapes, colors, forms and gestural marks, by presenting the paintings of several well-known abstract artists.
