HVAC-R Helper
This 45-hour course prepares participants to assist heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians. Topics to be covered include: HVAC--R systems safety, HVAC-R systems power tools, hand tools, materials, and equipment. Additional topics for technician assistants are covered: fastening devices and hangers, electrical fundamentals, motors, refrigerants, and the refrigeration cycle.
