Bowling
This 16-hour course is designed for Special Needs adults to introduce the game of bowling. Emphasis is to instruct students in the concepts of addition, subtraction, and coin recognition using bowling as the forum. Students will learn how to use a vending machine with appropriate coins. Students will learn to add and calculate numbers. Students will learn to operate computerized score keeping equipment. Students will use skills learned in the work environment. Students will use knowledge of coin recognition for transportation to and from the work place and to operate vending machines and public telephones.
