Bachata Dancing
This course will teach students how to dance Bachata. Bachata is a social dance that started out in the Caribbean and is now danced all over the world. Bachata is the 2nd most commonly danced style in Latin clubs in the Pittsburgh area (Salsa is the 1st). People who learn to dance often describe it as a life changing experience, and Bachata is an excellent starting point for getting into social dancing because it is one of the easier dance styles to learn. There is somewhere to dance Bachata, even if you do not have a partner, almost every night of the week in the Pittsburgh area. Most of the venues are attended by people of all ages, so this is a great way to meet new people. NO PARTNER IS NECESSARY for this class.
