It is a repetition of fine lines, dots and shapes on a small format. Zentangle is a design style developed for people who think they are not artists but like to make marks on paper for their own enjoyment. The basic tools needed are fine tip markers or pens and small sheets of paper. However, the student can expand their creativity by adding vibrant to soft colors with markers on smooth illustration board. The design possibilities are endless and can even be embellished with bright colored objects, made into jewelry, or can be transformed in three-dimensional art forms.
