Adult Basic Education Skills
This course is for the adult learner identified through formal pretest assessments whose reading, writing and numeracy skill levels are at the NRS High Intermediate Basic Education Functioning Level 6.0 to 8.9. The individual will study reading (includes writing and speaking) skills, numeracy skills and mathematical fluency. Reading and math skills will be developed through problem solving, reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills to handle tasks related to workplace employability, basic skills, and knowledge and lifelong learning.
