Investing for a Better Retirement

A good plan to save and invest for retirement can make the difference between living comfortably in old age, and struggling to get by. This is truer today than ever because of stress on company pension plans and the Social Security system. This trend requires individuals to take greater responsibility and control over their financial futures. This course is designed to help students better understand options for building retirement funds and maximizing financial returns. Ideally, those taking this course should be near retirement age, have some retirement funds and have a basic understanding of investments, such as stocks, bonds, real estate and mutual funds.
