Academic Writing

Writing well is one of the keys to succeeding in college. Students will learn the foundations of good academic writing: the basics of correct grammar and standard American English; the nature of research; the skills of criticism, analysis and argumentation; and the revision process. Lectures will be supplemented with in-class writing assignments.
